The weather is getting better as the low-pressure system fades away. A weak high-pressure area is taking over. Dust will be in the air starting Monday, but it should clear up by Tuesday.
Today, expect clouds with a few isolated showers and maybe a thunderstorm, especially in the west. Later, some local showers might pop up in the southeast. In the mountains, there could be snow or sleet until early afternoon. Winds will blow from southwest to northwest at 4-5 Beaufort, reaching up to 6 Beaufort in some places. The sea will be rough to very rough. Temperatures will hit 20°C inland and around 18-19°C on the coast, while in the mountains it will be 9°C.
Tonight, the sky will mostly clear up, but there may be some clouds and low clouds in the early morning. Winds will calm down and temperatures will drop to 7°C inland, 9-10°C on the coast, and 4°C in higher mountain areas.
On Sunday, expect mostly clear skies. On Monday, more clouds will roll in with a chance of light rain at night. Tuesday may bring local showers or thunderstorms again, mainly in western and mountainous regions.
Temperatures will rise until Monday, going above normal for this time of year, then drop on Tuesday. The snow depth on Troodos peaks is about 8 centimeters.
