The weather is quite changeable in the region because of low pressure. Local rains and thunderstorms are likely in many parts of the island.
These conditions will first hit the north, mountainous, and eastern areas, then move to the south and west. Hail might happen during thunderstorms. Snow or sleet is expected on the peaks of Troodos.
Winds will shift from southwest to northwest and get stronger. Temperatures will be around 18 degrees inland and 20 degrees by the coast, dropping noticeably at night.
This Saturday and Sunday, dust is expected to enter the atmosphere. On Sunday, rain and thunderstorms will return, mainly after noon.
