“WITHIN ONESELF”: The Book by Laki Argyrou in School Libraries
The book by Cypriot author Laki Argyrou, “Within Oneself,” has been approved by the Ministry of Education to be included in the list of recommended books for use in secondary education school libraries.
Through the pages of this book, the author “takes” readers on a journey, encouraging them to seek the hope and truth hidden within themselves. Laki Argyrou, as an author, chooses to serve authenticity. For him, authenticity does not require advertising, does not seek applause, and does not depend on recognition. It is there, steadfast, unaffected by superficial imitation. And the more others attempt to copy, the clearer it becomes who lives their truth and who merely reproduces sounds and words.

The book will be utilized in school libraries through experiential workshops and discussions, where students will have the opportunity to explore the values of authenticity, self-awareness, and personal creativity. Through reading clubs and group activities, students can draw inspiration and develop skills in critical thinking, self-analysis, and empathy.
