The era at AEK has come to an end. Xavi Roca has resigned as technical director.
Here’s the official announcement from the Larnaca team:
“AEK Larnaca announces that Xavi Roca has submitted his resignation as Technical Director, right after the match with Olympiakos.
Today (03/03), both parties met to discuss everything. However, he stood by his decision, and his resignation was accepted.
Xavi Roca was part of one of the most important and successful times in AEK’s history. During his two terms with our team, he helped establish AEK as a major force in Cypriot football.
His time here saw historic successes, including:
• Two qualifications for European group stages
• Two appearances in the UEFA Conference League Round of 16
• Two Cyprus Cup victories
• One Cyprus Super Cup
These achievements are milestones for the Club and carry his name.
The Board of Directors and the company thank Xavi Roca for his hard work, dedication, and professionalism at AEK. We wish him all the best in his future endeavors, both professionally and personally.”
