The Multifunctional Foundation of Nicosia Municipality, together with the British Council, is launching the Skills Lab for Young Women. This program empowers women aged 18–29 by focusing on leadership and entrepreneurship.
The program starts in February and includes four interactive training sessions on Saturdays from 10:00 to 12:00. The dates are: 14/02, 28/02, 14/03, and 28/03 at KEEAED. It will end with a networking and celebration event in late April.
The training sessions aim to help participants build practical skills, boost their confidence and create valuable connections. They also promote community and teamwork. Through hands-on workshops and active learning, women will explore topics like negotiation, leadership, collaboration, teamwork, basic marketing, and communication skills.
Participants who finish the program will receive a certificate of participation. They can also join a networking event to connect with peers, trainers, and stakeholders. This initiative seeks to enhance young women’s leadership skills, improve their job prospects and entrepreneurial readiness, while fostering collaboration and support.
