Croatian journalists wanted to hear from their countrymen who know Omonia. They interviewed Croatian goalkeeper Mislav Zandro from Freedom24 Krasava ENY.
They asked him about the atmosphere expected tonight at GSP. The Ypsonas goalkeeper shared his thoughts on the scene in the stands.
“Rijeka will face a lively crowd. The stadium will be packed with around 20,000 passionate fans. They are strong, with a Mediterranean spirit and a leftist political view. You’ll see communist symbols and some provocations towards opponents. This happens often in Cyprus. People throw lighters, bottles, and cups—especially during derbies.”
Zandro said he would be at the match in the stadium. Since he is on loan from Aris, he won’t play tomorrow against the team that holds his rights.
