CYPRUS: Rain, thunderstorms, and hail expected again after noon – The same scenario as yesterday
Unstable weather conditions are anticipated today, with rain, thunderstorms likely accompanied by hail, and winds that may strengthen in certain areas, prompting citizens to exercise particular caution.
Today, there will be intermittently increased local cloudiness, with isolated rain and thunderstorms expected initially, mainly in the northern regions, the interior, and the east. After noon, developing clouds are expected to bring isolated rain and a potential thunderstorm, primarily in areas south of Troodos, along the southern coast, and later in the east. Hail may fall during thunderstorms. Strong winds will blow in the area.
The temperature will rise to around 23 degrees in the interior and along the coasts, and about 12 degrees in the higher mountainous areas.
This evening, there will be locally increased cloudiness, particularly in the eastern half of the island, with isolated rain or thunderstorms expected initially, mainly in eastern and northern coastal areas, with possibilities extending into the interior. On Saturday, most areas of the island are expected to have mainly clear weather with locally increased cloudiness, while in areas south of Troodos after noon, isolated rain may occur. On Sunday, the weather will be predominantly clear; however, there will be periods of locally increased cloudiness.
