ISTANBUL: A health alert was issued in the Sisli district of Istanbul after 25 individuals were hospitalized with symptoms indicative of food poisoning following a meal at a popular local restaurant. The Provincial Health Director, Abdullah Emre Guner, announced on social media that those admitted to medical facilities are in stable condition and receiving appropriate care. This incident follows another where a 26-year-old engineer was taken to intensive care after consuming Turkish coffee containing a caustic substance at a shop in the Omer Avni area of Pera, and the death of an entire family in Istanbul.
