CYPRUS: Following yesterday’s chill, temperatures are returning to milder levels
After the cold we experienced yesterday, today the weather remains cool, particularly during the evening hours; however, in the coming days, temperatures will rise, reminiscent of more temperate autumn days.
Today, the weather will be mostly clear, although there will be increased cloud cover in some areas. Winds will blow from the northeast to southeast, light to moderate, at 3 to 4 Beaufort, and the sea will be slightly choppy. The temperature will rise to around 23 degrees inland and along the coast, and about 14 degrees in the higher mountainous regions.
This evening, the weather will be mainly clear with occasional local increased cloudiness. Winds will primarily blow from the northwest to northeast and southeast in the northern regions, light at 3 Beaufort, and the sea will be calm to slightly choppy. The temperature will drop to around 11 degrees inland, about 13 along the coast, and around 6 degrees in the higher mountainous areas. On Monday, locally increased cloud cover may bring isolated light rain, while Tuesday and Wednesday will see predominantly clear weather. Temperatures are expected to rise over the three-day period, exceeding average climatic values.
