CYPRUS: Rain, thunderstorms, and hail are expected again after noon—similar conditions to yesterday
Unstable weather conditions are anticipated today with rain, thunderstorms, and a possibility of hail, alongside winds that may strengthen in certain areas, urging citizens to exercise particular caution.
Today, there will be periods of locally increased cloudiness, with isolated rain and thunderstorms expected initially, primarily in the northern regions, the interior, and the east. After noon, developing clouds are expected to bring isolated rain as well as an isolated thunderstorm, mainly in areas south of Troodos, along the southern coast, and later in the east. Hail may fall during thunderstorms. Strong winds will blow in the area.
The temperature will rise to around 23 degrees in the interior and along the coasts, and about 12 degrees in the higher mountainous areas.
This evening, there will be locally increased cloudiness, particularly in the eastern half of the island, with isolated rain or thunderstorms expected initially, mainly in eastern and northern coastal areas, with a possibility of occurrence in the interior as well. On Saturday, in most areas of the island the weather will be mostly clear with locally increased cloudiness, while in areas south of Troodos after noon, isolated rain may occur. On Sunday, the weather will be primarily clear; however, there will be periods of locally increased cloudiness.
