Fairy tales and stories are key to helping children feel secure. Through words, kids learn to relax, understand their world, and see that even in darkness, there is light.
But in the daily chaos we face as mothers—where our role in 2025 often gets reduced to ‘multitasker’—we forget the magic of a simple story, a small letter, or a loving phrase.
How about reading this ‘letter’ to our child every night?
“Dear child,
Even if I forget to tell you with everything on my mind, know that wherever you are, I carry you with me… always.
Whenever you feel like you’re ‘drowning’, or if our bond feels ‘threatened’, I promise to read this to you.
In the chaos of the day, when the world feels too small and you don’t fit anywhere, remember that mom is here for you.
I’m right there. At the edge of fear, at the ‘cliff’. In every silence and deep sigh.
This small letter, which I hope you keep as a talisman, reminds you of my hug and my voice. That hug may seem invisible sometimes. That voice may be hard to hear.
I’m there. Mom whispering to you ‘you’re not alone my child’. Never.
And remember. If you ever feel tired and need to rest. If you get lost on paths that seem like a maze… Look inside yourself. Deeply.
You will find me there. I’ll be there cheering for you.”
Sincerely,
Christina | A dreamer mom who wants to share this with you”.
