A new earthquake recently shook Cyprus, raising worries among local residents.

Initial reports say the earthquake had a magnitude of 3.4 on the Richter scale and hit at 11:03 a.m. local time. The epicenter was about 50 kilometers west of Limassol and 11 kilometers southeast of Paphos, with a depth of around 9.3 kilometers. While it’s seen as a moderate quake, people in several areas of the Paphos and Limassol districts felt it.

So far, there have been no reports of damage or injuries, but authorities are keeping a close eye on things.
