NICOSIA: Motorcyclists “overrun” areas of the capital – Residents in despair over intense noise pollution
For quite some time, groups of motorcyclists have been moving recklessly in the area of Makedonitissa, as well as in the neighborhoods of Engomi and Archangelos, causing significant disruption to the residents. Their bikes, often speeding, rev continuously, creating a loud noise that disturbs the tranquility of the neighborhood and the hours of common peace.
Residents report that the situation is unbearable, as the constant noise pollution affects their daily lives, their rest, and their quality of life. Despite repeated calls and complaints to the relevant authorities, the Police seem to be absent, failing to take effective measures to curb this phenomenon.
