Omonia Gets Ready for Rapid Match – Maeh’s Status Unclear
This week, Omonia starts preparing for the match against Rapid.
Our players took Sunday off. Starting today, they will work hard for the important match on Thursday. A win in Vienna will guarantee our qualification. Training sessions are set for Monday and Tuesday mornings, with departure on Wednesday morning.
After Thursday’s game, our team will train in Austria on Friday morning before heading back to Cyprus.
On the injury front, Maeh is the only player in doubt. The Belgian-Moroccan forward is picking up his pace but is unlikely to play on Thursday. The goal is for him to be ready for the derby against AEK next Monday.
Evandro is back from suspension. However, Stepinski, Musialowski, and Tankovic will miss Thursday’s match as they are not on the European list.
