Yesterday (24/11), AEL’s management shared a detailed announcement about the referee mistakes in the match against APOEL at GSP.
When we opened the press office’s message, we thought we’d see a happy note about breaking the ‘curse’ of 14 straight losses against APOEL at their home ground.
After reading the points where referee Panagiotis Chatzigeorgiou made mistakes (with some criticism for the Swiss VAR official too), we realized that the Limassol team’s management was spot on.
They also criticized fourth official Liotatis, who they have clashed with over past mistakes this season.
