The Cyprus Theatre Organization (THOC) is celebrating World Theatre Day by giving away free tickets for selected shows. This lets more people enjoy the magic of theatre.
This initiative is part of the organization’s promise to keep theatre open and accessible for everyone. It boosts public interest in live performances and encourages cultural involvement.
Free tickets will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis for four shows currently running.
On Friday, March 27, at the New Stage “Nikos Charalambous,” two shows from the Experimental Stage will be featured: at 5:30 PM, “The Assignment” by Evridiki Perikleous-Papadopoulou, directed by Avra Sidiropoulou, and at 8:30 PM, “A Thousand Hands” by Stella Voskaridou, directed by Fotis Nikolaou. On Saturday, March 28, at the Main Stage “Evis Gavrielides,” at 8:00 PM, the play “Translations” by Brian Friel, directed by Patrick Myles, will be performed. You can reserve tickets by calling the THOC box office at 77 77 27 17. The same day, at 8:30 PM, “Twelfth Night” by William Shakespeare, directed by Owen Horsley, will be shown.
