News spread quickly that a footballer’s father attacked the opposing team’s coach. All details, names, and addresses were shared. The police arrested the person who hit the coach…
We weren’t surprised this happened. The tension in society spills over to the fields where our kids play…
We won’t judge how this unacceptable event started or ended.
It’s sad to take our kids to sports and entertainment, hoping to keep them away from phones and bad influences, only to see us ‘fighting’ among ourselves.
We’re not psychologists, so we can’t tell anyone how to behave—whether they are coaches or parents.
What matters is that our kids go out to play football, basketball, volleyball, or any other sport and enjoy it.
We shouldn’t feed them ‘poison’ by pressuring them from such a young age to ‘tear themselves apart’ for results.
This is a big issue, but we won’t analyze it (since we’re not experts) about how qualified some people in academies are, who should teach our kids the game’s secrets.
