The Ministry of Health has a new announcement for consumers about a baby product recall in Cyprus.
This decision comes from the Rapid Alert System for Food and Feed (RASFF). Nestlé is doing a voluntary recall because some products may contain cereulide. This substance comes from the Bacillus cereus microorganism.
After checking the Cypriot market, they added batch S-26 GOLD 1 (400g) with number 53280346AB and an expiration date of November 30, 2027, to the recall list.
So far, the following products have been identified and withdrawn:
- S-26 GOLD 1 (400g) – Batch 51550346AE – 06/30/2027
- S-26 GOLD 1 (400g) – Batch 53280346AB – 11/30/2027
- NAN EXPERTpro SENSITIVE PLUS (400g) – Batch 51250742C1 – 11/30/2026
- NAN EXPERTpro Lactose Free (400g) – Batch 51520346AD – 06/30/2027
- Nestlé NAN optipro 1 (800g) – Batch 51210346AB – END 11/2026
The Health Services ask parents and guardians to check their products carefully. Do not use them and return them to the stores where you bought them. If you purchased online from foreign stores, please check if your products are on the updated recall list.
