In Nicosia, at the Cosmikon Center Antonakis, the Cyprus International Short Film Festival joins the global event Short Film Day. This day celebrates World Short Film Day on December 21 (Le Jour le plus Court). The event starts at 7:30 PM and features nine award-winning films from the Festival’s collection. BALLET
At the Nicosia Municipal Theatre, the Nicosia Youth Ballet performs Sergei Prokofiev’s classic Cinderella at 7 PM. They team up with the Cyprus Youth Symphony Orchestra for this show. THEATRE
Every Sunday at 11 AM, the Satirical Theatre in Nicosia presents The Little Prince, adapted and directed by Eleni Anastasiou. This performance is for both kids and adults, bringing the beloved story to life with creativity. More info at satirikotheatro.com.

In Limassol, ETHAL Theatre stages Marina Makri’s contemporary play The Chandelier at 8 PM. It captures a lively gathering of a typical Cypriot family. EXHIBITIONS
Nicosia’s NiMAC hosts the group exhibition Fluid Persistence. Here, 19 artists explore ecological issues and water’s role in storytelling. The exhibition runs until May 31.
The exhibition Parallel Artistic Explorations, featuring Marios and Anna Varella, is on display at Apokalipsi space until January 17. Isnotgallery also hosts the group exhibition Electric Dreams, which runs until January 6.
Dimitris Papanikolaou’s painting series The Condition is exhibited at Marginalia until January 3. Meanwhile, Alpha C.K. Art Gallery showcases Michalis Manousakis’ work Matter of Unfading Bodies Suffering until December 23.
Dimitris Yeros’ work is on display at Golden Gallery by Kapatays until January 10. Stand in Line features the group exhibition December, showcasing pieces from 29 artists until January 24. Rodax Art Gallery presents Marios Kourouniotis’ photographic exhibition From Chaos to Weaving, running until January 15.
The exhibition The Anna of Three, by Lefteris Olympiou, runs alongside a group show with 21 artists until January 3, 2026. Maurice Cazzolli’s site-specific installation Nicosia Water Movement is displayed at Municipal Square Town Hall until June 30, 2026.
Larnaca Municipal Gallery features Marios Spiliopoulos’ work The Traces of Humans IV – (The Conversation of Worlds), running until January 11.
Paphos showcases Yiannis Sakellis’ work titled Where Figures Drift, exhibited at CAP St George Hotel & Resort until January 11.
