A 25-year-old Lebanese national, allegedly involved in planning assassination attacks against Israeli and Jewish targets in Germany and across Europe, has been extradited by Cypriot authorities to Germany.

According to an official statement by Germany’s Federal Prosecutor, the young man, known as Kamel M., was arrested on March 6 at Larnaca Airport while in transit from Beirut. The arrest was based on an Interpol red notice and a European arrest warrant issued by the German judicial authorities.

The suspect did not contest the extradition request and was transferred to Germany by air last Thursday. On Friday, March 20, the arrest warrant was executed.

“An arrest warrant was executed for the supply of weapons to the foreign terrorist organization Hamas,” the statement said. The accused is believed to have delivered 300 rounds of ammunition to another member of the organization through an intermediary in August 2025 for further transport.

German law enforcement searched his residence in Berlin two days after his arrest in Cyprus. A total of eight individuals have been arrested as part of the network dismantling, with previous arrests made in Berlin, London, and at the German-Czech and German-Danish borders.
