The seismic tremor that shook Cyprus today found the members of the Parliamentary Education Committee holding a press conference to review their work over the past five years.
Also present was the President of the House, Annita Demetriou, who during the brief interruption caused by the earthquake seized the opportunity to raise the issue of the building housing the Legislative Authority. She stated that, in light of the seismic activity, the House is located in an unsuitable building.
After the earthquake subsided, humor was not lacking in the room regarding the well-known slogan “earthquake, earthquake, Alarm.”
